Port Huron X-Treme Competitive Dance Team is a non-profit, community based organization, meaning our directors and coaches are volunteers. Our dancers live in Port Huron, Marysville, St.Clair, Jeddo, Blaine, Ft. Gratiot and Burtchville Township and attend many different schools.
Our X-treme dancers compete at 5 different levels. Tiny includes dancers ages 4 to Pre-K or Kindergarten. Primary includes dancers from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. Elementary consist of dancers in 4th, 5th & 6th grade. Dancers in the 7th, 8th & 9th grade compete as Juniors and our dancers in 10th, 11th & 12th grade are Seniors.
Our organization teaches dance technique, pom, lyrical, jazz and hip hop routines. In addition, we involve them in community service; it's never too early to learn how to "give back."
Our dancers volunteer at the Masonic Center, assisting with their fundraisers. They have collected & donated stuffed animals to Port Huron Hospital. Our dancers have also collected donations & participated in the Walk-for-Warmth. They also collected monetary donations for a child diagnosed with Brain Cancer & purchased food & gifts for families at Christmas. We applaud their efforts and encourage the girls to become good, strong dancers as well as good, strong individuals.
