Meet Our Coaches!
Hello! My name is Stephanie Kesner. I am 27 years old and have been with Port Huron X-Treme since elementary school. I started coaching primary when I was 16 and now I typically work with the dancers on the junior/senior teams. I am a Housing Assistant as my full-time day job, and coaching these kiddos is where I like to spend my free time. I love to choreograph jazz/contemporary/hip-hop routines, but I'm always excited to learn/teach new things! Port Huron X-Treme is more than a dance team, it's a family. I love committing my time to an organization that helps promote confidence, hard work, and self love among these young dancers. Our team of coaches are all very talented ladies and I am honored to be able to work with them. Out of any competitive dance team, I'm proud to be a head coach of X-Treme!!
Hello! My name is Jordan Duckworth. I am 28 years old and have been with Port Huron X-Treme for 13 years. I danced with the team for 4 of those years, took a year off after graduating high school, and the 2020-2021 season will be my eighth year coaching. I coached the primary and tiny teams for three years, and am going into my fifth year as the elementary coach. Being part of the X-Treme teams is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have met my best friends through this amazing organization, and have created an astounding little family with my fellow coaches. I have had the pleasure of coaching the most hardworking young women, whom have made this the most rewarding experience of my life. I am looking forward to the 2020-2021 dance season, and am excited to see where it will take us!
Hello friends, I am Megan Dewey. I have danced on X-Treme for six years years and now have been coaching for seven years. X-Treme has made a huge impact on my life and I aim to inspire my dancers to do what they love and give them a home away from home, like I experienced when I was dancing. I am a first year virtual 3rd grade teacher for the East China School District. When I'm not coaching you can catch me at Target, TJ Maxx, or in bed watching Netflix. I am so excited to get this 2020-2021 season started!
